Rob Willington Joins Rebuild The Party

Today, Rob Willington, the former executive director of the MassGOP, announced that he is the new executive drector of Rebuild The Party.

Greetings everyone. Today, is my first day as Executive Director of RebuildTheParty.com and I am really excited to roll up my sleeves and get to work over the next couple of months. I’m from the northeast (Massachusetts) and am used to some pretty rough political terrain. New England Republicans are used to trying new things on low-budgets and so we tend to be a creative bunch utilizing new media to our advantage.

232nd Anniversary of Independence, 3rd Anniversary of Hub Politics

Today marks two occasions for all of us at Hub Politics. First, today is the 232nd anniversary of our nation’s independence. The second, it is the three-year anniversary of the launch of Hub Politics, which launched on July 4, 2005 with this post.

Three years ago, we launched this blog with the goal of creating a new conservative voice in the Massachusetts blogosphere. It has been our pleasure for the past three years to do what we can to help make the Commonwealth a better place. Things got really exciting during last year’s gubernatorial election, and while that may not have turned out for the best, it was an honor to take part in the election the way we did.

Since we started, we have launched two sister sites, Deval Patrick Watch and Save WRKO, and we have migrated Hub Politics over to a new blogging platform which will enable to launch exciting new features in the coming weeks and months ahead.

Happy Independence Day!
