Deval’s Legislative Accomplishments
by Matt Margolis, August 5th, 2008 at 10:47pm

I couldn’t help but notice that this article from WBZ’s Joe Shortsleeve is titled “Patrick Touts Legislative Accomplishments” and here is the opening paragraph:
There is a large deficit, falling gas tax revenues, and dire predictions for the State’s fiscal health.
Yup, that pretty much sums up Deval Patrick’s accomplishments.

the throw away line about his regret at not cutting property taxes is in the dictionary next to “lip service”..

I love how he says he regrets not cutting property taxes yet today we see he won’t “rule out” a tax increase.
Typical lib thinking…..why find a way to cut costs when you can keep raising taxes.
Anyone else think that this is basically a scare tactic to try to avoid having us vote to eliminate income taxes?
