Aaron, you shock me! You seriously think "equal" means "equal"???? (I know you were being sarcastic)

They can use any word they want because it "means" something different to them.

This is like Imus and Bernie calling the b-ball team "nappy headed ho's". "Nappy headed" was used in a song by Stevie Wonder and no one complains (granted that was 30 years ago); and "ho's", just listen to rap. And you think none of the women on the team ever call each other "bitch", "ho", or "ni***r"?

According to "Whoopie", they can use any word they like, it's just that WE can't (you decide who "we" means.

For cryin out loud, one lug head even complained about the term "black hole". Pretty soon you won't be able to say lots of words or phrases that start with black.

blackball; black berry; black and blue; black eye; blackhead; black and tan; eye black. We'll even have to change the name for the color black to something else.

Maybe the Mass legislature can write a law striking the word black from the books.

I wonder what color ink they will print it with.......
