Gas Tax Hike? No Teacher Left Behind

Menino Not Going To Wisconsin

by Aaron Margolis, April 3rd, 2008 at 12:15pm

Mayor Menino was a nominee to be the next chancellor at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Apparently, the mayor is not interested in a 260% raise.

I find it hard to believe if anyone had the opportunity to earn an additional $275,000 a year that he or she wouldn’t take it. Could you imagine Mayor Menino in academia?

What, pray tell, are Menino’s academic qualifications for such a post?

At least people are still talking about Muffy Mr. X. Where’s your boy during all of these Deval fumblings? I know, if the phone don’t ring, we’ll know it’s him…………..

Da Mayah is a highly regarded member of the UMass Life Credit College of Public Service; He has a BA or a BS in City/Urban Planning and Management. One of his top advisors guided him into the program. Jim Brett (MPA Harvard-oh gosh) gave Menino some flack about it during the ‘93 campaign. Its all in the Globe archives.
