See Spot Run, See Spot Buckle Up.

Are we supposed to be comforted by the fact that while crime is skyrocketing in Boston, that state legislators are pursuing legislation to force dogs to wear seatbelts?
…state Rep. Martin Walsh is howling mad about dogs running wild inside moving cars and is considering filing legislation requiring drivers to buckle up their canines. ‚ÄúWhen I drive down the road and I see a dog running around the car, particularly on the lap and front seat, that‚Äôs crazy,‚Äù said the Dorchester Democrat.
I think Dorchester has other, bigger problems than dogs in cars.

Come on Matt, you’ve never been cut off by a fat guy driving a caddy, smoking a cigar with a useless little poofie dog hanging out his window? I see this every day and it drives me nuts. Anyone who lets a dog hang out the drivers window should have their license suspended for 30 days!
While I agree with you that the city has bigger problems, can’t we deal with some of the smaller ones too?

JeeeeeZ.. I’m not even for mandating ADULT humans to wear seat-belts, I sure don’t give a crap about mandating animals to wear them.
So if it’s not driving while on cell phones, or eating, or drinking, now pooch problems are to be dealt with? Doesn’t it all get put under the category of reckless driving? end of story?

Nice to see all the old timers like Knight,Bigbish,Maggie and V find something they can sink their teeth into…funny how that story about the Dept. of Education getting fined for not letting dissenters to MCAS speak, never got posted here…would love to see what you MCAS LOVERS would say…probably all the same thing since the MCAS requires a standardized response.

V — there is already a law that would apply to this. Outlaw cigars.

Miss X — you still troll here?
Shouldn’t you be working with the Shillary Clinton show by now?

Wave, your sarcasm is so BORING! Go back across the Charles with your friend Muffy!
Knightbrigade, when Hillary wins, the mashing and knashing will be so intense, you will need to change your moniker to Knightdivision since that’s what you’ll need to try (to no avail) to stop the forces of Hillary! There will be strawberries in February, the stars will shine every night, the rapture will be!
