Deval Patrick’s first weeks as governor of Massachusetts have been… undeniable lousy for him. Broken promises and reports of his reckless disregard for our tax dollars should have those who voted for him scratching their heads and thinking “We made a big mistake.”
Sadly, the devoted Deval Patrick shills are giving him a pass.

How many times in the debates and on the stump did Deval answer a question about taxes with some variant of “I have no plans to raise taxes”?? That answer foreshadowed his first 60 days, during which he’s already proposed a handful of major tax hikes on businesses. Today’s heralded tax “relief” plan offers roughly $75 million in “relief” to just 100,000 taxpayers – and it hikes taxes on business a whopping $500 million. I’ve never been much good at math, but how exactly does the press compare $75M to $500M and come up with headlines that include the word “relief”?
Haven’t we forgotten that Romney cut services to the disabled and elderly in his last “screw you” to Mass and Deval restored that funding so that people at risk are less likely to become homeless?
Oh, silly me! I forgot the Republican montra, “remember to step over the homeless not on them”
