Foul Mouths Against Senator Brown Boycotting WRKO

Where’s Deval?

by Matt Margolis, February 11th, 2007 at 09:37am

Some of you may have noticed that Deval Patrick has kept somewhat of a low profile recently… Why is that? It its rather strange that the behavior of candidate Deval Patrick and governor Deval Patrick is so different. Perhaps he finds it a lot easier to show his face when he makes promises, and less easy to show his face when he breaks promises.

Governor “sweet nothings” wasn’t really hiding anything when he was a candidate. He had no agenda and more importantly, no job. Unlike previous governors who had definite plans such as Weld’s plan to loot state government, ooops I meant to privatize state government or Romney’s plan to use office as a steppingstone on his way to getting blown away in upcoming R primaries (sorry it didn’t work out Mittster.) Usually, confused and failed office holders begin talking to the portraits towards the end of their term…Deval’s already “consulted” with Governors Increase Sumner and Calvin Coolidge among others. They told him to hope for a crisis (snowstorm anyone?)so he will have something to do otherwise hold on ’till Hillary wins and the AG job is yours.

I’m confused… What promises have been broken? This is like when Tony Snow said that the president was going to deal with healthcare because the Democratic Congress had done nothing about it a week after they came into office. could you maybe provide some substance?

Well Matt lets review by his no Quid Pro Quo commitment. As far as I’ve seen he’s already violated that one by promising pay increases to legislators who lean his way up to 7500.00. Or does your Devalian mind selectively forget that? How about the commitment to put 1000 cops on the street? Down to 250 now I believe- I gotta look at that- how about property tax relief - lets connect the dots here- ain’t gonna happen. How about urging legislators to ignore the state constitution and the will of the voters by urgingthem not to vote on the gay marriage amendment. No promise broken there but set a precident didn’t he? Dukakis’ son in consideration for a job with the state film board or some such hack group? How about Capaunos nephew who was his campaign driver getting a job in Admin & Finance? No quid pro quo there? Pick up a paper once ina while Matt

This guy is manna from heaven. Let us hope that the loyal opposition is poised to strike when the moment arrives.

I hate New York, but I have been following Elliot Spitzer over in Albany for the past few weeks. He labeled himself a “F—-in Steamroller”. I said wow, when was the last time you heard an elected official say that. I am totally disgusted by Deval. From day one I saw right through him. He talks alot but he can’t walk the walk. Does Spitzer have any cousins in Boston, if so can you run for Governor. We need someone with balls.
