Boston Veterans’ Day Parade

Last year, Boston shamefully chose not to hold a Veterans’ Day Parade… but not this year… WTKK has the details:

Be sure to join FM TALK and the City Of Boston for a Veterans’ Day Parade, this coming Saturday, November 11th, 2006.

Parade begins at the intersection of Charles and Boylston Streets proceeds up Tremont Street ending at City Hall Plaza where there will be a short speaking program beginning at 2:00p.m.

Parade goers can start lining the parade route at 12:30 pm. Members of the American Legion Auxiliary will be handing out American flags along the route.

So, be sure to go down and your support for our veterans. For more information, click here.

Wish I could be there, but I’ll be picking up my son who is flying in on leave from his Army base in Germany right about that time. Hope you all have a wonderful time though.
