Birds of a Feather: Patrick Campaigned At Scondras Home
Deval Patrick just can’t seem to catch a break. Last week the details of Patrick’s involvement in the Benjamin LaGuer rape case were dominating. This week, just days after the news of ex-Boston City Councilor David Scondras’ arrest in an underage sex sting, we find out that Patrick attended a political barbeque at Scondras’ home. The Boston Herald reports:
Deval Patrick attended a political barbecue at the home of accused child predator David Scondras this summer, where he milled with Cambridge activists while they enjoyed burgers and hot dogs.
The event, by the Progressive Democrats of Cambridge, was held Aug. 27 at the home of Scondras, a former Boston city councilor who was accused this week of being a sexual cyber-predator.
An e-mail invitation Scondras sent for the barbecue urged people to “come talk to lots of local politicians, ask them tough questions and get some free FOOD.” Scondras, a Patrick supporter, told the Herald yesterday the Democratic gubernatorial hopeful dropped by with Cambridge Mayor Kenneth E. Reeves after a Caribbean parade.
“I didn’t ask him to come by. I was completely surprised,” he said.
Lesley Phillips, chairwoman of the Progressive Democrats of Cambridge, said Scondras’ home was close to the parade and he had a back yard. “There’s no connection beyond that,” she said.
Reeves told the Herald Patrick met Scondras for the first time at the barbecue, which he said was attended by 10 people. Those there said Patrick stayed 30 minutes.
Since last week, Deval Patrick has be shown to have very unhelpful ties to a rapist, a cop killer, and a child predator–a regular motley crew. Patrick is already showing a hit from the Benjamin LaGuer scandal, and his troubles don’t yet seem to be over.

“BIRDS OF A FEATHER” : It should be more like (Bats) moonBATS. Can’t blame poor Deval about Scondras, jeeeez as far as Deval knew, he was only hanging with a fellow liberal. Should he be nervous to maybe go hang with the “FLUFF” King Barrios? Devals ideology will hurt him, just as bad, as his lack of judgement.
Looks like the Deval campaign is lying again.

What is David searching for a cure for?
Hey David:
For Deval Patrick to say he doesn’t know about Scondras’ legal problems means one of two things:
1. Deval knows little about Mass, and his handlers are inept, which means he would choose like-minded inept people to handle him as governor
2. Deval is lying
But the fact is, Scondras is a FORMER city councilor for a REASON. Everyone knows he’s a perv.
Plus, it doesn’t matter if Deval could remember that Scondras is a perv. Look at it from the other side. What’s revealing is the fact that all the hacks, insiders, perps, pervs, and the like have LINED UP behind deval. Big Dig lobbyists throw him fundraisers. Now a perv who wants a pardon hosts him at his house. Deval meets Billy Bulger to ask for his support, what did he have to promise? An increased pension?
Now, Deval who has a credibility issue with rape victims is hosting Slick Willie himself, who is accused of MULTIPLE rapes by MULTIPLE women who had come into contact with him, who molested young interns at the White House, and who granted all those midnight pardons his last day in office. How many midnight pardons will Deval grant for his perp and perv friends who have thus far lined up to put him in office?
