Lisa Wangsness’s story in The Boston Globe yesterday gave me a chuckle. Headlined, “Supporters say Reilly’s credibility can’t be beat,” I couldn’t help but think the story must have been a parody. Just what kind of credibility does Reilly have? He claims he didn’t pick Gabrieli as his running mate because Gabrieli wouldn’t release his tax returns, but he picked Marie St. Fleur, whose tax delinquency was soon discovered and forced her to drop out. How about his approval of the Big Dig gag clause? What does it say about Reilly credibility when he tried to cover up the role alcohol played in the deadly car accident of the daughters of one of his campaign contributors? How can anyone forgive Reilly for supporting in-state tuition for the children of illegal immigrants?
Reilly has neither credibility or integrity. I can’t believe anyone is supporting him anymore.
