Barrios Surrenders In His War On Fluff
by Matt Margolis, June 26th, 2006 at 11:35pm

Scott Helman, over at the Boston Globe’s “Political Intelligence” Blog reports that Senator Barrios has now given up his war on Fluff.
[...] Barrios, after his proposal became national news and the butt of jokes on talk radio, decided to drop the effort, said spokesman Colin Durrant. “It’s clear that this story had grown to a point where it had overshadowed his original mission or bottom line, which was, in the context of the school-nutrition bill, to have a discussion about … what should be served to children in school.”
With this news, the Barrios Fluff Advisory Level has been brought down to ‘Low’.
We hope now that Senator Barrios has surrendered, he can enjoy his new tub of Fluff without any guilt.
