Mihos Shakes Things Up

Christy Mihos, Independent for Governor, is making news again, this time because of an internal shake up in the campaign. The Boston Herald reports:
Independent candidate for governor Christy Mihos unveiled a campaign team overhaul yesterday, naming as director a former Massachusetts Turnpike Authority lawyer and announcing a host of other new staffers.
“We brought a number of people in who have been in the commonwealth forever and who know the issues,” Mihos said.
Campaign manager Peter Pendergast, who will continue to work for the campaign as a consultant, has been replaced by Carolyn Kain. Kain, like Pendergast, served as a staff attorney for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority during Mihos’ embattled years on the agency board.
Also joining his team are press secretary Nicole L. Nionakis; senior adviser Thomas D’Amore, chief of staff for former Connecticut Gov. Lowell Weicker; and fund-raising director Frances E. Levas.
Quite a few new faces at Camp Christy…I bet this will get him elected.

Rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
“We brought a number of people in who have been in the commonwealth forever and who know the issues,” Mihos said.
Anyone ever heard of any of them?

No number of website redesigns or staff shakeups are going to help Christy. Mihos gave up his shot at the corner office when he decided to abandon his party.
Christy may have a new staff, but he’s still an irrelevant infantile critic. Pardon my language, but the phrase that comes to mind is: same sh*t, different pile.
The only thing that will help him is to get out of the race.
