Healey Opposes Taxpayer-Funded Sex Change Operation For Convicted Killer
by Matt Margolis, June 2nd, 2006 at 07:38am

One point I had not mentioned in my previous post regarding convicted killer Robert Kosilek’s desired sex change operation was my desire to see any of the gubernatorial candidates speak out against such a gross potential waste of taxpayer dollars. I was thrilled to see Kerry Healey standing up for the taxpayers on this matter.
“I strongly oppose using taxpayer dollars to fund a sex-change operation for any prisoner, but especially a convicted murderer,” Healey said.“Should taxpayer money be used for a sex-change operation? I think the answer is a resounding ‘no,’ ” she said. “He shouldn’t be receiving any special treatment whatsoever.”
I haven’t noticed any of the Democrats take a position on this matter… but at least you know that Chris Gabrieli wants Massachusetts to invest in stem cell research.

If a prisoner is given a sex change with my money I swear I will sue the government for base stupidity. No matter what anyone says a prisoner does *NOT* get the same rights as a free civilian..ever..in any way. If the person is question didn’t want only a basic form of rights then they should not have violated the law
