Kennedy Jabbed By Liberals For Cape Wind

While many in the media were too busy swooning over the signing of forced socialized health care coverage, Senator Ted Kennedy was being protested–by liberals–for his antics on Capitol Hill that will likely lead to the end of the Cape Wind Project.

“Our health! Not your health!” chanted a group of about 50 environmentalists upset with Kennedy’s opposition to the offshore windmill project just miles from his family’s famous Hyannis compound.

Cape Wind supporters held a brief rally late yesterday morning outside Faneuil Hall, where Kennedy, Romney and other political bigwigs gathered for the separate health-care ceremony inside.

After blasting Kennedy and Romney (also an opponent), protesters, including members of the Conservation Law Foundation and Clean Power Now, stationed themselves outside an exit where they thought Kennedy would emerge.

He finally did and was immediately greeted with chants of “What do we want? Clean power!”

The senior senator simply waved before jumping into an SUV and getting whisked away.

Mr. Liberal jumping into an SUV… got to love it.
