Questioning Jill Carroll

Why did recently released reporter Jill Carroll go out of her way to say she was not harmed by the terrorists who held her hostage? Why did she go into detail about how “pleasant” her ordeal was? She was able to take showers and go to the bathroom seemingly at her leisure, and spend time with Iraqi women and children.
Something seems very odd.
And to top it off, she has also set herself up to be a new hero for the liberal left with her criticism of the Bush Administration.
“I feel guilty. I also feel that it just shows that the mujahedeen are good people fighting an honorable fight, a good fight. While the Americans are here, the occupying forces, you know, treating the people in a very, very bad way. So I can’t be happy totally for my freedom because there are people still suffering in prisons, in very difficult situations.”
“While the Americans are here?” Is she not American, too? Why didn’t she say “we Americans” are here? Why is that today she is inferring that the Americans are the terrorists, but we have video of her weeping and begging for her life?
There are just too many questions that ought to be asked about this situation. It didn’t take long before we heard things like “Stockholm syndrome,” “treason,” and “hoax” being suggested by all kinds of columnists, talk show hosts and their callers. Time will bring forth answers, and perhaps even the truth will come out.

Dear Aaron: Were you there with her, with machine guns pointing at you? I think not, neither was I. No one has the right to question her statements unless they were there with her being held. Jacob.

I damn well can question her statements…. and I will continue to do so.
that’s what is so great about this country.
The reason? for the same reason why liberals, and the Mainstream media can question why we went to war when they were not privy to the intelligence and make suggestions that it was fabricated…. they weren’t there getting briefings, so how can they question why we went to war?

I really do believe this was all an elaborate Hoax, and that Miss Carroll was in on it from the start. I do not believe her “Captors” ever had any intention of killing or harming her. And Yes, I do agree that the Truth will eventually come out, and that Miss Carroll will be Totally Discredited.
