Not surprisingly, 6 Boston Democrats have been found to have let their tax bills go astray. The hyprocrites: Sen. Dianne Wilkerson, Rep. Gloria Fox (and let’s not forget Marie St. Fleur).
State Rep. Marie St. Fleur (D-Dorchester) set off a bomb in Attorney General Tom Reilly’s campaign for governor last month when the Boston Globe reported a day after she was named to the ticket that she owed $12,711 in delinquent real estate taxes and roughly $40,000 in student loans.
State Sen. Dianne Wilkerson (D-Roxbury) has a long history with personal and campaign financial woes. She served six months in a halfway house after pleading guilty in 1997 to failing to pay $51,000 in federal income taxes.
State Rep. Gloria Fox (D-Roxbury) defaulted on her mortgage after missing six years of payments. The former Fleet Bank bailed her out in 1996 by lending her $150,000 despite her poor credit history.
Additionally, the following Democrats who serve as Boston City Councilors have had some poor management of taxes: Chuck Turner, Maureen Feeney and Felix Arroyo.
Boston City Councilor Chuck Turner has two federal tax liens on his record, documents show, both encompassing numerous years of unpaid personal income taxes in the 1980s. One lien filed in 1992 hit Turner for a whopping $18,638, while the other filed the following year totaled $3,496 for failing to pay personal income taxes in 1989, 1990 and 1992.
Turner also fell behind on his city property taxes in the 1980s, according to county records.
Chuck Turner, in case you forget, held up fake photographs purporting to be US soldiers raping Iraqi women at a news conference with Sadiki Kambon.

Councilor Maureen Feeney, the former vice chairwoman of the Ways and Means Committee, failed to pay all of her property taxes in 2000 and 2001, records show.
The city filed “instruments of taking” against her seeking to recover a total of $356 in taxes, interest and costs. Feeney and her husband, Lawrence, finally settled their debts in January 2005, records show.
Feeney said the upaid tax bills, which only came to her attention a few weeks ago, were for her garage, not her house, because the structures are divided into two parcels. “We were under the impression that the mortgage company was paying it along with the house, but that was not the case,” she said.
And lastly, Councilor Felix Arroyo.
Councilor Felix Arroyo publicly owned up to his tax trouble last week, admitting he owes $399 in disputed vehicle excise taxes. He also acknowledged that $26 of his 1997 property tax went unpaid for years because he mistakenly assumed the escrow account with his mortgage lender paid the tax bill.
The unpaid taxes had nearly tripled to $76 with interest in penalties last year when he finally paid up, county records show.
How many more Democrats will be found to be past or current tax delinquents?

Massachusetts Democrats Don’t Like Paying Taxes
Amazing isn’t it? Democrats love talking about Americans paying their fair share… but they never want to pay their fair share……
